Walls (Circus) - Tom Petty

I’m 45% sure I’ve posted this song before; however, I’m certain you’ll forgive me once you really listen the second and third verses. It might be too early to be getting this deep, but early-morning clarity is, for me, such a rarity that it must be savored and shared.

Sometimes you’re happy
Sometimes you cry
Half of me is ocean
Half of me is sky

But you’ve got a heart so big
It could crush this town
And I can’t hold out forever—
Even walls fall down

  1. anarchyandscotch said: I’ve always liked the other version, but both are wonderful. I have long held that for every human emotion, there is a corresponding Tom Petty song.
